Cookie Policy
FitsTheBin (fitsthebin.com)
Effective date: October 4, 2026
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how FitsTheBin ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. Questions: [email protected].
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and scripts. They can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by another company, such as Google). They can last for the length of your visit (session) or longer (persistent).
2. How we ask for your consent
When you first visit, a cookie banner (provided by CookieConsent) lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies. Until you choose, only strictly necessary technologies run. Analytics and advertising technologies are off by default.
We use Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode. Your choice tells Google's tags whether they may store cookies for analytics or advertising. If you refuse, Google tags may still send limited, cookieless signals (such as the fact that a page was loaded) that do not identify you and are used for aggregate measurement. Microsoft Clarity runs only if you accept analytics.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. If you accepted and later withdraw, we stop using those cookies, but you may need to delete existing ones in your browser (see Section 6).
3. Cookies and technologies we use
Names and durations are set by the providers and may change.

5. Québec notice: profiling technologies
